Storytell Your Discovery Using Graphic to Make Your Science Memorable

“A picture is worth a thousand words” explains the importance of a Graphical Abstract, a simplified pictorial representation of a research study.

An excellent visual abstract captures the readers’ attention, improving the publication’s online searchability.

Today this is a submission requirement of the premier publishers, and like plain language summary, both are essential in helping to improve online research visibility.

In this program, the researchers will learn to use the storyboard of Big Why-Why-What-How to identify their research novelty.

Such novelty will become the “hero shot,” which is the gist of the graphical abstract.

The researchers will have a chance to familiarize the with visual tools like MindTheGraph, and to use them to edit a selected picture from the tool’s gallery.

By combining the skill of conceptualizing or mind mapping the novelty and a tool, researchers will be able to transform their discovery into a visual that explains complexity within a minute.
